Leaf Falling Season in the NC-TN Mountains
Each year thousands and thousands of people flock to the North Carolina and
Tennessee high mountains to witness one of nature's most expressive displays
- the leaves turning colors in the mountains. The weekend of October 14,
2006 produced peak colors in the high elevations. These are some of the
pictures I took on Mt. Mitchell while crossing over from Gatlinburg, TN to
Cherokee, NC.
